The Siberian 7 (less one) came together for the first time in Barnaul since beginning our journey all those kms ago beginning in Vladivostok.
After the 5 of us shared a swanky dinner in the Siberian hotel, we were delighted to here Amy was on her way to join us. Strait off the bike and with a quick wine refresher it was great to hear her stories mixed with our travel yarns. We had all been off the grid at times and putting these together was fun. How she was a doggie bite victim with a rabies evacuation story, the Gs trophy, and how and what we all thought of our varied Mongolian experiences.
More on that later.
We had spent some fruitful hours earlier in the Barnaul bikers bar earlier catching up with Brett n Yvonne. Brett n I had to hold the banner high sampling more of the Russian beers as Lenore had some colouring in to do heading off to the coffuire with Yvonne.
Russia though short n sweet this time is still a favourite. This side of Siberia is more lush, houses bigger, stock fatter than the Far East.
The girls are pretty, everyone well dressed, polite, helpful and friendly. Let alone what we have seen of the magnificent country. Mountains, forests and rivers.
