3 @ Escaping Vegas

The late night last night took its toll, what with a late start the next day. Breakfast was a short event and consumed in a Shopping mall.
We were all rewarded in finding stuff to come home with.
Declan with his timberland boots, and shoes for the rest of us and so on. It was four something in the afternoon before we found our way to the Vegas BMW, doh! Wrong one? Then re-navigate and on to the BMW motorbikes which was a good distraction. Enjoyed chatting bikes with the GM!
We hi-tailed to the Hoover dam heading out of Nervada.

Magnificent man made structure, on sunset with the deep red brown hues, the contrast of mans engineering was as captivating.
Declan was keen to see the sunset from the look out, ran back and got the car while we walked back across the bridge. He stopped to collect us and immediately a military personal appeared and no way would he allow us to get in the car. Move on!!! Ok. Sorry! Ok MOVE ON!
Well that decided he drove off and managed to collect us around the corner where we drove to the lookout and walked across the state bridge.

Dark descended upon us and it was off to Kingman and eventually a room at a Ramada motel. Kingman is not high on the tourist trail...for good reason.
Dining got us to Jack in a box, dining chain experience which thinking it was like our Wok in a box.....it is not, nor recommended burger chain.
But we do like fridges full of beer in every servo that we spotted across the road. Big beer = more fun. Good sleep and then......

Tomorrow Route 66
